Bitez Village
The Bitez Village with the post office, local council building, school, cottage hospital, and local shops including restaurants where you can have either fast food or taste local dishes, butchers, pharmacy,
barbers, and hardware stores is the centre of Bitez area.
The Bitez Village is also called Agacli Koyu by the locals, which must be because of its many big mandarine, lemon and olive gardens along the dry watercourses. These dry watercourses are like a natural labyrinth and a pleasure for people who love to walk in the nature.
Bitez village has also something which is not very usual anywhere. It has a tea house where the entrance is only allowed for women. It is called the “Kadinlar Kahvesi”. You can see there women sitting outside during the summer time drinking their tea or coffee while they are knitting or playing back gammon.
